JoAnne Anderson is a consummate real estate professional with over 25 years of experience specializing in the many unique communities across Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah. A native of the Beehive State, JoAnne received her Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah in 1991—she was one of the few women majoring in finance at that time. After graduation, she entered the workforce and enjoyed a lengthy career in the finance world, working as a commercial real estate banker before transitioning into the role of stockbroker/consultant for Salomon Smith Barney. As a result, JoAnne learned how to be a strong negotiator for herself and clients. During her years in finance, JoAnne obtained her real estate license and began working in the industry. During her first year, JoAnne was a top-producing agent. Today, with her extensive background in financial services and 25+ years experience navigating Utah’s real estate market, JoAnne is uniquely qualified to handle all aspects of the most comprehensive real estate transactions. A native of Utah, born and raised locally in the Beehive State, today JoAnne lives in the St. Mary’s neighborhood of Salt Lake City and owns investment properties throughout downtown Salt Lake. As a result, she stays current in the local market—especially the Salt Lake, Harvard/Yale, St. Mary’s, Avenues, Federal Heights, and Sugar House neighborhoods. She is also well-versed in Utah’s numerous and diverse local recreational property opportunities.
In 2023, JoAnne joined luxury brokerage Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, after seeking a full-service local brokerage with a global reach. JoAnne has been named to the REALTOR 500 list on numerous occasions; she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Also active in her community and local University organizations, JoAnne has served as the President of the East High School Community Council, on the Board of the Family Support Center, as a Trustee on the Realtor Political Action Committee, and on the Board of the East High School Foundation.
When she’s not working, JoAnne’s personal interests are many and diverse; she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Adventure has a strong appeal, including her most recent adventure to Egypt, Petra, and the amazing Silk Road.
