Testimonials
We worked with Jim as young, first-time homebuyers seven years ago. We are now preparing to work with him again as we sell our first home and buy our next home. Jim is very knowledgeable about the housing market and the areas we've been looking in, and he's also incredibly helpful when it comes to looking through a home and knowing what work may need to be done without getting in over your head. He spotted water damage in a bathroom that had been concealed, he helped us see the resale value in several potential properties, and he's also been a HUGE advocate for us as we've had to work with other listing agents that do not have half the class he has when working with clients. We'd choose Jim any day to help us find our home and we're confident in recommending him to all of our friends.
I could not have been more happy with my real estate agent Jim Anderson. He was knowledgeable, helpful, professional and went far and beyond his call of duty to serve our family. I would recommend Jim to anyone who is buying or selling property!
You won't be disappointed with Jim! He's a joy to work and has a wealth of knowledge in the real estate industry. Here are reasons why I chose Jim as my realtor:
1. Frequent communicator: Jim will respond to calls and texts immediately--regardless of the time. This is critical when you're trying to wrap up a deal.
2. Availability: Jim always made a showing work. We could send over homes--or he would recommend--and we would be looking at them same-day.
3. Patience: Jim showed us homes (often last minute requests) same-day for over 6-months before we purchased. He never once acted annoyed or bothered by our requests.
4. Loyalty: We felt that Jim was loyal to us--his client. He wasn't trying to "close a deal." Instead, he looked out for our best interest and wasn't afraid of telling us to "run" when necessary.
5. Expertise: Last, but definitely not least, is Jim's expertise. He has been in the real estate biz most of his life--and it shows. He knows the market, and he knows homes--from small homes for first-time home buyers to multi-million dollar mansions--he's your guy!
Jim is the fatherly mentor you would hope for in a realtor. He's honest, available at the drop of a hat, and incredibly patient with indecisive home buyers. Thank goodness for Mr. Jim Anderson. He's definitely invited to our house-warming party.
Working with Jim was awesome. He successfully negotiated a better price than the original asking price. Then he worked with the seller on some of my concerns to get them resolved. After I moved in, the tile in the shower cracked and Jim contacted the previous owner who sent a tile man over to fix the shower
Jim was great! He took away all of the stress of selling our home. He is very professional and has the experience necessary to provide a great experience for buying and selling your home. Don't hesitate to work with him!
My wife Brooke and I worked with Jim to purchase our home in Holladay Utah about 1.5 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. Jim worked tirelessly to help us find a house in a very hot market where it is difficult to find exactly what you are looking for. Jim was very knowledgeable about all of the houses in the market and which ones might also be coming up for sale, which was a big help. We had a unique experience where we had a very difficult seller who would disappear for weeks at a time and in the end our deal ended up ultimately falling through. After a bout a month Jim was able to resurrect the deal and we ended up purchasing the house we wanted. If it wasn't for Jim's hard work, professionalism, and tenacity I would probably still be squatting in my in-laws basement spending all of my free time looking at houses. I would recommend Jim and a buying agent as well as a listing agent to anyone who is serious about doing a real estate transaction.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I have known Jim Anderson since 2003, when I moved to Holladay. When it came time to list my $1 million plus home on Memory Lane a few years ago, I listed it with Jim. Having moved at least ten times over my lifetime, I have never had a realtor so responsive and helpful. When inspection issues came up on the home during due diligence, Jim was proactive in helping me find the right people to make the necessary improvements and to oversee them being done. That is beyond what a normal realtor would do. He also was my realtor when I purchased my replacement home on Marilyn Drive.
Due to my wife’s illness, we recently moved from Holladay to Draper to a smaller $800,000 home to be nearer our three children. Jim helped as my realtor on the Draper purchase. He also now has the $2.7 million listing for my Marilyn Drive home in Holladay and again has been instrumental in making sure that it is well taken care of, not just when showing it, but actively checking on it frequently and overseeing improvements or repairs. This is not just because he lives a block away from my Marilyn Drive property, but because he just takes a personal interest in his listed properties and their owners, as well making the necessary professional effort to market them. This has been a major benefit to me, because I cannot look after and properly maintain the Marilyn Drive property continuously myself at a time when I must devote all my time caring for my home bound wife.
I heartily recommend Jim, especially for high value unoccupied homes, because he can protect the owners’ interests through observation and action on a timely basis. Please feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions.
Hi friends! As many of you know, I just purchased a home in Holladay. I've been so wrapped up in the excitement I forgot to recognize my awesome agent! I couldn't have done it without my real estate agent, Jim Anderson. Jim went above and beyond to help me get this house. I never thought I'd be able to afford a home in such a beautiful neighborhood, but Jim got me the deal of the century (literally)!! If you are in need of a real estate agent, I highly recommend using Jim. Thanks again, Jim!
"Jim sold us our first house and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! He is very knowledgeable, not only about the purchasing process, but about homes in general. He's not afraid to point out any potential issues in a house and never pressured us to make an offer. His priority was to find a house that suited us. One of Jim's biggest strengths is his availability. He is a full-time, experienced realtor that we can honestly say will be on your side. Another strength of Jim's is his relaxed and humorous demeanor. If you're looking for a realtor, go with this guy and you won't be disappointed!! "
" He is personal, experienced, and intelligent. Great customer service and attention to detail. We were first time home buyers who frankly didn't know anything and he helped us with every step of the process, answering every question and easing fears all along the way. "
" Jim recently helped us to purchase our first home. I'm new to the area and my wife and I were just recently married and so we had a lot of questions about how the whole process of finding and buying a home worked. Jim was the perfect balance of providing us with lots of great information and guidance that we never would have known/thought to ask about (ex: differences between vinyl, wood, and metal window frames, or why short-sale homes rarely take a short amount of time to purchase) and letting us find what we wanted and liked. Jim has a lot of experience and knowledge as an agent and it was invaluable to have him helping us out. More than anything though, Jim was just a really good guy to work with, he is very personable and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone in Utah looking for a home."
"Jim is a very realistic real estate agent, laid back and helpful. He is proactive, and just a pleasant guy to work with. He has a lot of experience, which was helpful to me as a first time buyer. He is also patient through the offers/counteroffers and changes that happen in the deal. He keeps a good stance and offers fair advice when he feels that one's emotional investment might be pushing them in the wrong direction."
"Jim was awesome to work with! He was very knowledgable and pointed out important details that we might have missed when we went through various houses. When we walked through the house we would buy, he was very honest with us and told us that this would be a good buy and that if we didn't make an offer right away the house would be gone. We followed his advice and are proud first time homebuyers! Thank you so much Jim! "
