Now is the Time to Plan for the Winter Season


1414177962When you think about vacationing in Park City, of course, there will be some snow sports involved. Skiing and snowboarding options are boundless, with the area resorts boasting a combined 9,326 acres of “The Greatest Snow on Earth”! The resorts feature 426 runs, bowls and parks, all served by 58 lifts.

Now is the perfect time to start planning for the upcoming season, so here’s a quick look at the three resorts and their ticket prices.

Deer Valley Resort

Deer Valley Resort is renown for its impeccable guest services and amenities. At Deer Valley, you will find perfectly groomed slopes and steep bowls — there’s something for everyone!

Regular rates:
Adults $114
Senior $81 (Age 65+)
Child $72 (Age 5-12)
Tot $25 (Age 1-4)

Multiple day tickets are available for additional savings.

Park City Mountain Resort

Park City Mountain Resort offers 3,300 acres of ski and snowboard terrain that is considered some of the best in North America.

PCMR offers passes for several different mountain areas as well as times including:

All Day
Half Day
Lower Mountain
Twilight
Night

Currently, PCMR has not released ticket prices for the upcoming season; however, the new Epic Pass is available. The Epic Pass allows skiers to enjoy several different ski resorts around the country including the Canyons, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, and many others.

Regular Epic Pass (no restrictions): $749/adults (Age 13+) and $389/children (Age 5-12)

Epic Local Pass: $569/adults (Age 19+), $439/teens (Age 13-18), $289/children (Age 5-12)– some area and date restrictions apply

Canyons Resort

Skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the slopes of the Canyons. The mountain features miles of runs and wide open bowls for riders of all skill levels.

Canyons Resort ticket prices start at $55/per day for adults and $33 for children and seniors when purchased on line. You can get lower ticket prices when if you purchase multiple day tickets.

The Canyons Resort also offers the Epic passes, available at the following prices:

Epic Local Pass” $569/adults (Age 19+), $439/teens (Age 13-18), $289/children (Age 5-12)– some area and date restrictions apply

Regular Epic Pass (no restrictions): $749/adults (Age 13+) and $389/children (Age 5-12)

Other Great Winter Activities

The Park City area also offers other fun and exciting winter activities.

Explore the area mountain ranges with a thrilling snowmobile adventure. Several area companies take visitors on guided tours aboard snowmobiles to explore the area mountain ranges.

Enjoy a day of tubing at Gorgoza Park. You’ll find both beginner and advanced runs. The Park also offers fun activities for the kids including a tubing carousel and mini-snowmobile rides.

Gaze down on the landscape from above with a hot-air balloon ride, or glide through open meadows and through the woods with a sleigh ride.
